Just like the luxury coffee of the same name, Argyranthemum ‘Double Espresso Macchiato’ is frothy and full bodied! The large coffee and cream coloured button flowers are produced in profusion, on well-branched plants from June to September. These Marguerite Daisies are some of the easiest patio plants to grow and make an interesting addition to borders, flower beds and patio containers. Height: 30cm (12″). Spread: 30cm (12″)

Pot up plugs and grow them on in warm frost free conditions. Pinch out the growing tips of the stems to encourage bushier, more compact growth. When all risk of frost has passed, gradually acclimatise Marguerite Daisy plants to outdoor conditions over a period of 7 to 10 days. Plant them out in well drained soil in sunny borders. Alternatively, grow in patio containers using good quality compost such as John Innes No. 2.
Feed and water regularly throughout the growing season. Deadhead faded Marguerite flowers to encourage more blooms to be produced. In autumn, move container-grown Argyranthemum to bright frost free conditions and reduce watering. In spring, prune back stems to within an inch of the previous years growth. Border grown plants are unlikely to survive the winter outside in all but the mildest areas.
