Pot up plugs and grow them on in warm frost free conditions. When all risk of frost has passed, gradually acclimatise chrysanthemum plants to outdoor conditions over a period of 7 to 10 days.

Incurving chrysanthemum flowers will be larger if young plants are ‘disbudded’. Remove all buds and side shoots except for the central bud on each main stem.
