Delphinium ‘Pacific Giants Mixed’ is a tall garden border plant that has spectacular columns of semi-double blooms in a variety of pinks, whites, purples and blues. They give height and structure to borders, and are perfect for planting behind lower flowering perennials, such as Lavender. Delphiniums, sometimes known as Larkspurs, are a traditional cottage garden plant that flowers in June and July and like sunny positions. This type of Delphinium, as the name suggests, is a large variety. They make great cutting flowers for indoor vases. Height: 150cm (60″). Spread: 75cm (30″).

Choose a sunny position, sheltered from strong winds, in moist, well drained soil. Work some well rotted manure or garden compost into the soil.
Feed and water regularly until plants are established. When shoots reach a height of 30cm, the tall stems will require staking with garden canes for support. Remove old delphinium flowers as soon as they fade to encourage another flush to be produced later in the season. In autumn, remove old foliage and apply a mulch of well rotted manure to the base of the plant. Lift and divide in autumn every third year to maintain their vigour.
