Dierama is a very graceful hardy perennial which makes a beautiful addition to cottage garden borders. It is oten referred to as Angel’s Fishing Rod and looks particularly attractive when overhanging water. The slender stems arch and tremble in the breeze, adding movement and fluidity to planting schemes. ‘Blackberry Bells’ bears clusters of delicate, deep purple-pink, bell-shaped flowers which rise above clumps of slender, semi-evergreen, grass-like foliage in July, followed by attractive seedheads in late summer. Height: 100cm (39″). Spread: 45cm (18″).
