Geranium oxonianum ‘Claridge Druce’ is a clump-forming, evergreen Geranium bearing a succession of rose pink flowers from late spring to autumn. This hardy Geranium has a particularly vigorous spreading habit, and so is useful as a weed-suppressing ground cover. Pollinating insects love its nectar-rich blooms, and ‘Claridge Druce’ is a well-known variety that will happily self-seed, forming new clumps throughout your borders in coming years. Height: 75cm (30″). Spread: 60cm (24″).

Choose a sunny or semi shaded position on any well drained soil. Work some well rotted manure or garden compost into the soil prior to planting. Firm Geranium plants into the ground and water well to settle the soil.
Water regularly until fully established. Remove old foliage and faded flower stems throughout the growing season to promote continuous fresh growth. In autumn, cut the foliage back completely. Apply a mulch of well rotted manure to the base of the plant in spring. Lift and divide hardy geranium plants every third year to maintain their vigour.
