This specially bred dwarf variety, supplied on semi-dwarfing rootstock, reaches just 1.5m (59″) tall – just perfect for the patio! Delicate, pink-flushed spring flowers are replaced by rounded, blue-black fruits which can be harvested in late summer and autumn. Prunus Black Amber, produces deliciously juicy, thick skinned plums with a complex, sweet flavour.
Although partially self-fertile this variety will produce a better yield if planted with a pollination companion such as Plum ‘Victoria’. Supplied pot grown, 30-40cm (12-16″) in height. Height and spread if grown in a container: 1m (39″). Height and spread will be larger if not containerised. Rootstock: Ferlinain.
