Rudbeckia Collection

Annual rudbeckias are fantastic for massing in beds, borders and patio containers where their vibrant blooms compliment any hot colour theme. The sumptuous cherry red blooms and buttery golden blooms of this Rudbeckia Collection are borne on robust, well-branched plants and appear continuously from July to October, making them excellent for late season interest. Dot annual rudbeckia plants between perennials and shrubs or group them together in bold blocks as bedding plants. Supplied as plug plants.

• Rudbeckia hirta ‘Cherry Brandy’ – The world’s first red rudbeckia. Sumptuous cherry red flowers up to 10cm (4″) across are borne on robust plants all summer long and are superb for cutting. Height: 60cm (24″). Spread: 35cm (14″).
• Rudbeckia hirta ‘Banana Smoothie’ – This delightful dwarf rudbeckia bears buttery golden blooms with chocolate-brown centres which are attractive to bees. A neat and compact habit makes them ideal for patio pots. Height and spread: 30cm (12″).
